single user account

A single user account only receives messages for one person. All the messages in this account are downloaded and forwarded
to one email address.

multiple user account

A multiple user account receives messages for more than one person (also known as a global or domain account).
When the messages for this account are downloaded, eXchange POP3 must determine the intended recipients for each
message.
The most common way to do this is to read the message's copylist (To, Cc, etc).
Lookup address in Active Directory
If this option is selected (recommended) then all addresses including addresses in special headers like X-ENVELOPE-TO are looked up in Active Directory to determine the actual recipients of the message.

Enter an account name that has full rights to the Active Directory (administrator account recommended). Enter the name in the format
Domain\User |

Enter the IP address or Host name of the computer running Active Directory (usually your domain controller). |

If you are not actually using eXchange POP3 with Exchange Server but are using another SMTP server and Active Directory is not an option for you, you can manual enter the valid addresses that exist on your SMTP server.

| Email addresses assigned to this account | Displays the list of email address assigned to this account. Entering the domain name will specify and entire domain
(eg. acme.com). Click the Add button to enter email addresses. Click the Remove button to remove
the selected addresses from the list. |
